How we grade

We only track promises he ran on. To make this list, a pledge has to be load-bearing: repeated on the trail, written into Agenda 47 or the platform, or made a standing rally line. Every politician says something careless into a microphone once. Grading those would be scoring points, not keeping score, so an offhand remark stays out even when the administration later did the opposite of it.

We grade the pledge as it was stated, not as it was later reframed. Executive orders count when they take effect, not when they are signed. Court injunctions are marked Blocked rather than Not Delivered, because the administration acted and someone else stopped it. A pledge delivered at half its promised size is Watered Down, and we say by how much.

We do not grade on intent, effort, or press releases. If the number didn't move, the promise wasn't kept.
